Founded in 2017, Smart Growth Solutions was built on a simple but powerful belief: every person has the ability to grow, learn, and thrive when given the right support and environment. We specialize in Participant Assistance and Care (PAC) services under Indiana’s Family Support Waiver (FSW). Our goal is to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities increase their independence, develop life skills, and participate more fully in their communities.
Our team includes trained and caring professionals who understand that true support goes beyond simply providing care. It’s about building relationships, empowering choices, and encouraging each person to live a meaningful, connected life.
PAC Standards
Our recreational PAC services are designed to support community participation and build social, physical, and emotional well-being. Every activity is purposeful, promoting both enjoyment and learning. The family and team agree that recreational PAC services create joy, confidence, and stronger community participation. Our providers guide each person to not only have fun but to develop self-confidence, body awareness, and a sense of accomplishment.
We focus on three core outcomes:
Community Connection: Helping individuals feel comfortable and confident participating in community spaces and activities.
Health and Wellness: Encouraging regular movement and physical activity in ways that feel enjoyable and inclusive.
Social Growth: Promoting teamwork, communication, and respect through group-based or partner activities.
Examples of recreation under PAC may include:
Participating in Special Olympics or local adaptive leagues.
Going for nature walks or hikes to practice endurance and mindfulness.
Engaging in dance, fitness, or yoga sessions to build coordination.
Visiting parks, libraries, and community centers to explore new interests.
Using recreation time to learn practical life skills like time management, teamwork, or emotional regulation.

Position: PAC Provider (Family Support Waiver)
Pay Range: $20–$25/hour, based on experience
Minimum Requirements:
Must be 18 or older
High school diploma or equivalent
Pass background, drug, TB, and DCS checks
Reliable transportation
Positive attitude and a caring heart
